Precautions for Secondary Creation Activities
Hello, this is Blue Jump.
Introduction
This document provides a concise overview of Blue Jump’s rules for secondary (derivative) creations. For detailed copyright information, please refer to SCON's Copyright Guidelines at https://meechu.com/guide.
Blue Jump Entertainment (hereinafter “the Company”) has established these General Guidelines so that more fans can enjoy our content in various forms with confidence.
If you comply with these General Guidelines, you do not need to contact the Company separately when creating derivative works based on our content.
Please also refer to the additional guidelines below for fan art, music content, and “kirinuki” clips. If no specific additional guideline exists for your type of derivative work, follow the General Guidelines.
Scope of Secondary Creations
We consider derivative creation to be any creative activity that builds upon our content through your own ideas and originality.
As long as your derivative work falls within this scope and adheres to the General Guidelines, the Company will not assert copyright or related rights against your creation.
Please be aware that the Company or our affiliated talents may use your fan art or music clips as thumbnails or feature them on social media.
Simply reusing our content without creative modification or making only superficial edits does not qualify as a derivative work and is not covered by these General Guidelines.
Please Note
When engaging in secondary creation activities, you must review and comply with the following guidelines:
You may only produce secondary creations if you comply with these guidelines; by publishing any derivative work, you are deemed to have agreed to them.
These guidelines apply to individuals and unincorporated groups; for corporations, please inquire separately.
Simply copying official content or making uncreative edits does not count as a derivative work.
If the content in question is not exclusively copyrighted by the company, these guidelines do not apply.
In addition to these guidelines, if an affiliated creator has provided their own preferences regarding derivative works, please respect those wishes.
These guidelines may be updated without notice; please check for revisions before creating derivative works.
These guidelines do not constitute a relinquishment of the company’s copyright or related rights—all such rights remain with the company.
If the company requests that you modify or remove your derivative work, you must comply regardless of the reason; failure to do so may result in legal action.
Monetization of Secondary Creation Works
You may monetize derivative works so long as you follow the conditions for each type:
[Goods (Merchandise)]
Individuals or unincorporated groups may sell fan-made merchandise without separate permission.
[Clip Videos]
[Clip Videos]
You may post and monetize clip videos if you clearly credit the source at the very top of the video description, including:
The URL of the original video
The channel or creator’s name of the original video
If the clip includes third-party content (e.g., background music, images) not owned by the company, you must follow that content owner’s terms; the company is not responsible for any disputes arising from third-party rights.
You may not use membership-only, private, ticketed live, or other paid content unless you have separate permission.
The company may request removal of videos, thumbnails, or other materials at its discretion; please be aware of this.
Restrictions and Prohibitions on Secondary Creation
The following types of derivative activities are strictly prohibited:
Content that defames or could cause discomfort to the company or its affiliated creators.
Expressions that could be mistaken for official works or that impersonate official content.
Use of paid, private, or creator-restricted content.
Expressions created primarily for promoting other businesses or for direct commercial purposes.
Content that violates public decency or is anti-social.
Content promoting specific ideologies, religious or political beliefs.
Content infringing on third-party rights or harming their honor or dignity.
Any other content that violates applicable laws or platform rules.
